Titus Manager to Pay for Stolen Electricity

SAM Magazine–October 9, 2009–The former mountain manager at Titus Mountain, N.Y., Zachary White, was ordered to pay the National Grid $25,000 for electricity he stole at the ski area. According to published reports, White also has to pay the state $15,000 for environmental violations, namely dumping raw sewage into a drainage ditch that led to a river.

White will not face state prison time, but could still get two months in a county jail. He will be sentenced in December.
