SAM Magazine–August 15, 2011–The Whistler Mountain Bike Park hosted the millionth unique rider Friday, August 12. In its twelfth season of operation, Whistler’s park is the first lift-accessed mountain bike park to reach this number.
The lucky guest, Ryan Domm, was greeted by confetti guns and walked away with a season pass for the remainder of 2011 and one for 2012, a custom Dakine Whistler Mountain Bike Park jersey, a fully guided bike tour and a party in his honor.
The Park offers 4,900 vertical feet of trails for all levels and is open from May to October.
