SAM Magazine—Bolton Valley, Vt., July 22, 2026—Bolton Valley Resort’s leadership is evolving, as president and CEO Lindsay DesLauriers transitions to chair of the board while assuming a new strategic leadership position. Tara Murphy has become president and CEO, and Evan DesLauriers is now vice president; Nick Lemire was promoted to GM in May.
As board chair, Lindsay DesLauriers will seek out new opportunities, guide major development projects, and maintain the community-focused values her father Ralph DesLauriers established when he built the resort nearly 60 years ago.
New president and CEO Murphy is an accomplished Vermont business leader with more than 30 years of executive leadership experience. She has served as a business consultant to Bolton Valley for more than a year.
In his expanded role, Evan DesLauriers will continue leading resort operations, strategic initiatives, and long-term planning.
“I’ve known and admired Tara for many years, and we are truly fortunate to have someone of her caliber joining the team,” Lindsay DesLauriers said. “It also gives me great personal joy to see my brother Evan stepping up into this greater leadership role at the same time. I am overflowing with gratitude and looking forward to the ride ahead with Tara, Evan, and Nick.”
Murphy said, “I’m honored by the trust the DesLauriers family has placed in me and excited to work alongside Lindsay, Evan, Nick, and our incredible team as we continue investing in Bolton Valley’s future while protecting the culture and authenticity that make this place so unique.”
Evan DesLauriers said that with the management changes, “we’re well positioned for what’s ahead.” He added, “I look forward to rolling into Bolton’s 60th season with this team.”
One of Lindsay DesLauriers’ first major initiatives will be Nordic Peaks, the first new construction project at Bolton Valley in more than 30 years. This neighborhood will bring 32 condominiums and townhomes to the resort, expanding slopeside housing opportunities while supporting Bolton Valley’s long-term vision for sustainable growth.
