SAM Magazine–Broomfield, Colo., January 8, 2008–Vail Resorts, Inc., announced today that Bill Jensen is leaving his position as president of the company’s mountain division and COO of Vail to become CEO of Intrawest, effective June 1, 2008.

Moving in to take over his responsbilities on January 31, 2008, are Beaver Creek’s John Garnsey and Heavenly’s Blaise Carrig. The two were promoted to executive VP of the Mountain Division, with Garnsey overseeing Beaver Creek and Vail and Carrig overseeing Heavenly, Breckenridge and Keystone.

Taking over the COO position at Vail is Chris Jarnot. Jarnot moves up from his senior VP of marketing and sales position at Vail Resorts.
