Reporting to the Director of Tram Operations & Facilities, this role is perfect for a seasoned maintenance professional who excels in both hands-on technical work and leading high-performing teams. You’ll oversee all aspects of tramway maintenance operations, ensuring systems run smoothly while guiding staff, managing priorities, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily maintenance operations to keep tram systems safe and fully operational

Lead, schedule, and mentor maintenance staff while coordinating contractor work

Develop and manage preventative maintenance plans across all tramway systems

Continuously assess operating conditions and make critical safety decisions

Support emergency response efforts, including evacuations and system recovery
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in tramway, ski lift, or similar mechanical systems

Proven leadership experience in maintenance or operations settings

Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Familiarity with ANSI codes, safety protocols, and operational standards

Ability to lead confidently in fast-paced, safety-critical environments
