Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Avalanche Mitigation Supervisor to join our Ski Patrol leadership team for the 2026-27 winter season. This full-time seasonal position plays a critical role in avalanche forecasting, mitigation operations, snow safety, patrol leadership, emergency response, training, and operational readiness across the resort.
Qualified candidates will possess Avalanche Pro 1 certification (Pro 2 preferred), strong avalanche mitigation experience at a Class A resort, advanced skiing ability, and a passion for leading teams in complex mountain environments. This role combines hands-on field leadership with administrative responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work in the heart of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains alongside a highly skilled patrol team.
